Accelerated Summer Course Opportunities

Summer is the perfect time for students to get ahead or recover a grade while maintaining flexibility in their schedule. Orange County Virtual School (OCVS) offers accelerated summer courses designed to help students stay on track and reach their academic goals.

What is an Accelerated Summer Course?

Students can enroll in a course or courses and complete them within an accelerated timeline. These courses are ideal for motivated learners who are ready to work at a faster pace.

Recommended Timeline

For the best experience, we encourage students to enroll on or before April 15 and plan to complete their course within 6 weeks (by June 30). This schedule allows students to finish early and still enjoy the rest of their summer break.

Flexible Enrollment Options

April 15th doesn’t work for you? No problem! Students can enroll before or after this date. Once enrolled, simply connect with your instructor to create a personalized completion plan and establish a reasonable end date for the course.
