Welcome to Orange County Virtual School (OCVS), where we believe that education is the most powerful tool we can use to change the world. As a K-12 school, we are committed to providing our students with a flexible, innovative, and customized learning experience that supports their individual needs and prepares them for success in the 21st century.

Established in 2010, OCVS has been serving students and families throughout Central Florida, and we are proud to be one of Florida's Largest District Virtual Schools, with over 40,000 students enrolled. Our online education opportunity offers students the freedom to learn from anywhere, at anytime, without sacrificing the quality of their education.

At OCVS, we recognize the importance of online education in today's world, and we are dedicated to providing our students with a dynamic and engaging learning experience that prepares them for the future. Our curriculum is designed to be interactive, challenging, and relevant. We are excited about the potential of our students and are committed to providing an atmosphere of learning that fosters growth and development.

Orange County Virtual School is part of Orange County Public Schools, a high-performing school district committed to student success.
Accreditation

OCVS is fully accredited by Cognia (formerly Advanc Ed). Orange County Virtual School is also registered with the Florida State Department of Education and a part of the Orange County Public School system. Our accredited online high school diploma and all credits earned at OCVS are accepted by other 6-12 schools, colleges, universities, the military, and employers.
Flexibility

OCVS uses an asynchronous model which allows students to learn on their own schedule within a specified time frame. This means students can choose when and how to work to meet the deadlines of each assignment.
