Winter/ Second Semester - Withdrawal Procedures

Orange County Virtual School (OCVS) will survey all full-time students prior to the close of first semester to determine if they will return to OCVS for second semester.

Orange County Virtual School (OCVS) full-time students who wish to withdraw to return to their home-zoned or another Entity should complete the following steps:
Elementary Withdrawal Form
Secondary Withdrawal Form

The Google Spreadsheet will be shared with School Registrars and School Counselors

Registrars will enroll students back to the zoned school as of January 5, 2021; parent/student who notify OCVS they will incomplete courses will be dual-enrolled as Part-time and the enrollment changed to an ODE or dual-enrollment code in Skyward.

School Counselors will withdraw students from VSA as of January 4, 2021 unless the parent/student has notified OCVS that the student will remain in classes part-time to complete. The student status will be changed in VSA to Part-time and classes will remain active until complete.

The Registrar Department will process all withdrawals within 48 to 72 hours of the request pending students have returned their laptop and final grades have been entered into Skyward.
