Unlike the full-time program, the part-time program has rolling enrollment which allows students to register anytime during the school year. Part-time students are enrolled full-time in a traditional OCPS k-12, or in the Home Education program through the district. They elect to take supplemental courses with OCVS. Students can take an online course for graduation acceleration, or to earn high school credit while in middle school, or middle school credit while in elementary school. In order to take part-time course with OCVS, students must have their traditional school counselor's approval and/or with home education the parent consent.
Private school part-time students are enrolled in a private Orange County school full-time and take supplemental courses online with OCVS. In order to be accepted as a part-time, private school student with OCVS, you must reside in Orange County and attend an Orange County private school.
