Angel Barker (Registrar)

Ms. Barker started her career as a Medical Assistant. She earned her Associate's degree at Orlando College. In 1998, Ms. Barker joined Orange County Public Schools working with Trainable Mentally Handicapped students. In 2005, she wanted to transition and began working in a media center until 2010 when she became a school registrar. She has one son, a dog, and loves spending quality time with her family and traveling.

Erika Brown (Registrar)
Ms. Brown earned a degree from Valencia Community College and attended the University of Central Florida.  She began working in OCPS in 1998 as a school clerk. Ms. Brown enjoys spending quality time with family and close friends.

Elizabeth Flynn (Registrar)
Mrs. Flynn earned her B.A. degree from Michigan State University. She worked for Orange County Public Schools ten years ago and returned to the “family” as a registrar for Orange County Virtual School last year.  She enjoys spending time with family, watercolor painting, and traveling.

Stephanie Johnson (Registrar)
Ms. Johnson started working for OCPS in 1984. She worked as a Paraprofessional for 28 years at Richmond Heights Elementary. Ms. Johnson began working as a Registrar in 2009 until Richmond Heights closed in June 2013, then she joined OCVS. She enjoys spending time with her three daughters and twelve grandchildren.

Jessica Maldonado (Program Assistant)
Mrs. Maldonado grew up in New York City but moved to the Sunshine State in 1998 to pursue her education at Saint Leo University. While working towards her degree, she worked in the customer service field and did an abundant amount of volunteer work with ESE children. In 2000, she was a Lead Instructor in a private school and has taught various subjects. In the summer, she would manage and implement the curriculum for summer camp programs. In 2002, she graduated, earning her Bachelor's degree in Human Services, minoring in Sociology. Her number one passion is helping children by providing guidance, care, and direction so that they can become successful in life. In doing so, she provides the best staff and instructional support to them and their families. Working as the program assistant for OCVS has given her the opportunity to help students and their families adapt to the virtual environment. Mrs. Maldonado is engaged and has three beautiful children. She loves spending time with her family at the beach, pool, Disney, or watching movies. Spending quality time with family is priceless and precious. She also enjoys working out and traveling.

Phillip Sardin, Jr. (Tech Support)
Mr. Sardin earned his B.S. degree in Computer Information Systems from Grambling State University. Shortly after graduating, he then relocated to Orlando and started his IT career at Convergys where he acquired the skills that were needed to transition into the role of a Senior Computer Support Specialist at the University of Central Florida. In November of 2017, Mr. Sardin made the decision to seek other opportunities and was given the chance to join OCVS as a Technical Support Representative. When not working, he enjoys spending his downtime with his wife and two daughters, hanging out at local theme parks, and traveling around the world.

Marilyn Stevenson (Bookkeeper)
Mrs. Stevenson started her career in the US Air Force as an Inventory Management specialist. She then started working for the Army, Air Force Exchange as Inventory Supervisor. She made a career move into Hotel Management as a General Manager working and training new General Managers for La Quinta Inns and Suite LLC for 16 years. She loves meeting new people each day. Mrs. Stevenson has worked for Orange County Virtual school for nearly four years now as the Secretary/Bookkeeper. She enjoys spending time cooking, being with family and friends, loves gospel music, traveling and the ocean.

Danita Wrenn (Registrar)
Mrs. Wrenn earned her degree in Human Services from BMCC in NYC. She has been married for 18 years, has four sons and three grandchildren. She is also certified as a Medical Coder and Biller. Mrs. Wrenn's background includes customer service, sales, substitute teaching, and management. She has been working at OCVS for two years and her hobbies are jewelry making, crafting, and spending time with her grandchildren.
