Upcoming events:
  • Seniors First Community Food Bank: Volunteers will welcome guests, provide check in, and to distribute food. There may also be an opportunity to organize food, and ready bags for delivery. 
    • Location: TBA
    • Date: August 28th @ 8:30- 11:30 am
    • Ages: Students grades 9th and under must have an adult present

  • Second Harvest Food Bank:  Volunteers sort food at the warehouse. Volunteers inspect and categorize donated food products (such as dry goods and produce) and bag, box, or repack to ready for distribution.
    • Location: 411 Mercy Dr., Orlando, FL 32805
    • Date: September 5th @ 8:15-11:30 am
    • Ages: Students 10 and up (Students ages 10-15 must be accompanied by a parent)
  • Rise Against Hunger:  Volunteers of all ages are welcome to serve by packaging meals, labeling meal bags, washing food bins, testing equipment, recording inventory and helping with other warehouse tasks.
    • Location: 4091 Seaboard Rd, Orlando, FL 32808
    • Date: October 3rd @ 5:30-7:30 PM
    • Ages: All ages welcome (Parents must accompany students in grades K-9)

  • UP Orlando:  Volunteers help the Grocery Program (which allows people living in poverty to purchase food, hygiene and household items for up to 70% off regular prices) by stocking shelves and cleaning and organizing the store for shoppers.
    • Location: 150 W. Michigan St., Orlando, FL 32806
    • Date: November 7th @ 8:30 AM-12:00 PM
    • Ages: Students 10 and up (Students ages 10-15 must be accompanied by a parent)
  • Give Kids the World: : Will work the cafeteria in capacities such as serving food, helping carry trays, cleaning tables, dish cleaners in kitchen and throwing away trash.
    • Location: 210 S Bass Rd, Kissimmee, FL 34746
    • Date: December 5th @ 7:30 –10:30 AM
    • Ages: Students 12 and up (Students 12-16 must have a parent present)

  • Clean the Campus: Students, parents and teachers come together to clean the campus followed by a pizza party!
    • Location: 1600 Silver Star Rd, Orlando, FL 32804

    • Ages: All ages welcome (Parents must accompany students in grades K-9)

  •  Toiletry Collection & Sorting: sorting toiletries collected for Ronald McDonald House and make goody bags and boxes per Ronald McDonald house guidelines.
    • Location: 1600 Silver Star Rd, Orlando, FL 32804

    • Ages: All ages welcome (Student in grades K-9 must be accompanied by an adult)
  • Ronald McDonald House: Bake sweets for the families (cookies/brownies). 
    • Location: 1630 Kuhl Ave., Orlando, FL
    • Date: March 26th @ 1:30 -3:30 PM
    • Ages: All students age 14 and younger must have a parent present.

  • Clean the World: Serve an essential role in their mission by pre-sorting hygiene products for recycling and packing them for distribution.
    • Location: 2544 E Landstreet Rd Ste 600, Orlando, FL 32824
    • Date:  April 23rd @ 9:00-11:00 AM
    • Ages: Students 8 and up (Students 8-15 must have a parent present)
  •  Beautify the Campus: Students, parents and teachers come together to plant small gardens across campus and beautify the campus.
    • Location: 1600 Silver Star Rd, Orlando, FL 32804

    • Ages: All ages welcome (Student in grades K-9 must be accompanied by an adult)

Upcoming drives:
  • Second Harvest canned food drive: Collect canned food and dry food for Second Harvest and deliver.
    • Collections will continue throughout the month of August
    • Look for the bin that says “Canned Food Drive”
  • Baby DJ Toy Drive: Collect toys for the Baby DJ Program.
    • Collections will continue throughout the month of December
    • Look for the bin that says “Baby DJ Toy Drive”
  • Ronald McDonald – Collect items for a month, sort them at school into goody bags and boxes per Ronald McDonald house guidelines, deliver to house
    • Collections will continue through the month of February
    • Look for the bin that says “Ronald McDonald”
